STOP-PRESS ! Bailey Beats the Blah, picture book to help kids cope with their worry thoughts and sad days, hit the news-stand today with a News Story and my picture.
Albert & Logan News reporter, Stephanie Masters interviewed me only three days ago with a photo shoot at my family home.
I was shocked to unexpectedly spot my smiling face holding my beloved Bailey Beats the Blah in today’s paper.
But … I LOVED reading how myself and two partners Aaron Pocock, illustrator and Anthony Puttee cover designer worked together on this Logan production.
How did I Score a Newspaper story?
• I wrote a Press Release with an attention-grabbing headline and media kit. I detailed how my book will be beneficial to the community.
• I emailed this Press Release to Stephanie to pique her interest.
• VIP: I followed up with a personal telephone call to finalize the newspaper story.
